	Beginner 1 pts	Novice 2 pts	Intermediate 3 pts	Advanced 4 pts
Passing Demonstrates understanding of offensive passing strategies.	Beginner Student doesnt try and fails throughout the unit to correctly learn how to pass the ball.	Novice Student picks up the basic skills on how to pass but at times does not use the skills properly.	Intermediate Student passes the ball correctly most of the time. The student uses the correct passing technique.	Advanced Student passes the ball with proficiency. Able to pass to stationary and moving targets during game play
Catching Exhibits skill to catch a pass throw while stationary and moving.	Beginner Student doesnt try and fails throughout the unit to correctly learn how to catch the ball	Novice Student can perform skill with some consistency in a non game situation and with no defenders present	Intermediate Student can perform the skill in a game situation when left unguarded	Advanced Student can combine catching with movement to avoid a defender
Position- Centering Demonstrates understanding of centering.	Beginner Student doesnt try and fails throughout the unit to correctly learn how to center.	Novice Student picks up some of the basics mechanics.	Intermediate Student knows the correct position and can list their responsibilities	Advanced Student knows the correct positions and can assign/explain roles to teammates
