Timing/Musicality	Poor Student is unaware of the timing in the movement. Is often early or late on the counts.	Emerging Student sometimes has the timing of the movement. Has few moments of being on the counts.	Good Student mostly has the timing correctly. There are occasional moments of being early or late on the counts.	Wow! Student's timing is perfect, they are always on the counts. Never early or late.
Transitions	Poor Student does not ever have fluid transitions between movements throughout the dance.	Emerging Student sometimes has fluid transitions between movements throughout the dance.	Good Student mostly has fluid transitions between movements throughout the dance.	Wow! Student always has fluid transitions between all the movement throughout the dance.
Performance Quality	Poor Student does not bring any artistic quality to their movement. Does not pay attention to qualities required in the dance.	Emerging Student sometimes shows moments of artistic quality but does not demonstrate qualities asked for by the choreographer.	Good Student shows moments of artistic quality, demonstrating more then just the movement. Shows moments of the qualities asked for by the choreographer.	Wow! Student demonstrates artistic quality throughout the entire dance. They embody the qualities asked for by the choreographer.
Focus	Poor Student is unclear where focus should be throughout the dance.	Emerging Student sometimes knows where focus should be, but mostly does not.	Good Student mostly knows where focus should be, but not always.	Wow! Student is always on point on where their focus is at all times.
Technical Skills	Poor Student does not engage core throughout the phrase, does not stretch through their feet, and does not extend through arms.	Emerging Student demonstrates use of core sometimes throughout the dance and sometimes demonstrates other skills such as pointing feet and stretching though arms.	Good Student demonstrates use of core mostly throughout the dance, occasionally stretches through the feet and arms.	Wow! Student always engages core throughout the entire dance. Always points through their feet and extends through their arms initiating from their back.
Professionalism	Poor Student does not act professionally when working with the guest choreographer and teacher of the class. They are not respectful to others and distract the progression of the class.	Emerging Student sometimes acts professionally when working with the guest choreographer and teacher of the class but has moments of unprofessional behavior and is not always respectful to others.	Good Student mostly acts professionally when working with the guest choreographer and teacher of the class. Student is engaged and respectful most of the time.	Wow! Student always acts professionally when working with the guest choreographer and teacher of the class. Student asks appropriate questions and is constantly engaged and respectful to others.
