BASEBALL
	Poor 1 pts	Average 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Catching	Poor Does not properly hold glove. Does not show ability to judge a flyball or the speed of a groundball. Can not catch at close range when ball is tossed.	Average Holds glove properly. Shows basic ability to judge slow hit ground balls or short pop ups. Can catch at close range when ball is tossed on a regular basis.	Good Holds glove properly and adjust without hesitation. ex (backhands groundballs) Can judge different speeds of ground balls and adjust to get in position to catch the ball. Can track down balls that are hit away from them.
Batting	Poor Does not show basic ability to swing bat level. Does not stand with knees bent and bat held up. Can not make contact with ball when thrown at slow speed.	Average Shows basic ability to swing bat level across strike zone. Can stand comfortably and hold bat. Can make contact when ball is thrown slowly	Good Shows the ability to swing bat and adjust swing with pitch. Can bunt the ball when needed. Makes regular contact no matter the speed or type of pitch.
Throwing	Poor Can not smootly move arm back and forward when throwing. Can not judge distance or range when throw.	Average Shows proper form when throwing. Can judge distance or range when throwing to a target.	Good Shows good form when throwing and can throw ball from different levels when needed. Can throw to a target at different distances and hit on a regular basis.
