Volleyball: Underhand Serve 
Evaluation on the fundamental skill of underhand serving a volleyball. Students are rated and scored on the mechanics of their serving, not the number of serves landing inbound.

Contact the ball immediately after dropping the ball without lifting or spinning it. Contact occurs at the waist.Very consistent in serving "in".

Student does not look at the ball.

Student looks at the ball briefly and then focuses on the net when they hit the ball.
Proficient

Student watches the ball the entire time they serve.
Advanced

Student watches the ball the entire time they serve and serves the ball "in" a majority of the time.
