Over Head Serve	Needs Improvement Ball was tossed in the air, but not hit above the head. Students arm did not follow through the serve.	Proficient Ball was tossed in the air and hit above the head. Students arm did not follow through the serve.	Advanced Ball was tossed in the air and hit above the head. Students arm followed through the serve.
Underhand Serve	Needs Improvement Ball was held waist high, but hit incorrectly. Students arm did not follow through the serve. Incorrect striking foot forward.	Proficient Ball was held waist high and hit correctly. Students arm did not follow through the serve. Inconsistent striking foot forward.	Advanced Ball was held waist high and hit correctly. Students arm followed through the serve. Correct striking foot forward.
Accuracy	Needs Improvement Serve was not accurate and did not hit the target area.	Proficient Serve was accurate, but did not hit the target area consistently.	Advanced Serve was accurate and hit the target area consistently.
