Resist Fabric Dying 
Using various methods, students will place objects onto fabric which will cause the dye not to be able to penetrate and color certain parts of the material causing a random design to appear.

By using wood block, rubber bands , string , marbles and other objects, treated areas of fabric will become impenatrable to the dying process.

Resisting the Fabric

Using items of their choice studetns are to place rubber bands , string and /or clamped wooden blocks onto pre washed cotton fabric .

Students will use paint brushes to apply dye to their reist fabrics in areas of their choosing.

Once the fabrics are rinsed and dried , students are to then remove all of the "resist" objects from their fabrics and iron out the wrinkles
