The student tries to do their best. Occasionally stands around during the activity, but overall, participation is satisfactory.	Proficient Student displays very good effort. The student almost always tries their hardest during the activity. Is rarely seen standing around.	Exemplary Student displays excellent effort during activities. Always tries their hardest and is never seen standing around during the activity.
Fairplay	Beginning Student displays lack of fairplay. Sometimes follows the rules and also argues with other students/teacher.	Developing Student displays a good sense of fairplay. The student usually follows the rules and occasionally argues with other students or teacher, but overall, their progress is satisfactory.	Proficient Student displays a very good sense of fairplay.
