Foot Movements	Unsatisfactory Student steps with wrong foot or consistently does not step while throwing.	Poor Student rarely steps with opposite foot while throwing.	Fair Student sometimes steps with opposite foot while throwing.	Good Student consistently steps with opposite foot while throwing.
Palm-down/Underhand	Unsatisfactory Student fails to position his/her hand appropriately on the bocce ball while throwing.	Poor Student struggles to position his/her hand with palm facing down while throwing.	Fair Student sometimes positions his/her hand with palm facing down while throwing.	Good Student consistently positions his/her hand with palm facing down while throwing.
Palm-up/Underhand	Unsatisfactory Student fails to position his/her hand appropriately on the bocce ball while throwing.	Poor Student struggles to position his/her hand with palm-up while throwing.	Fair Student sometimes positions his/her hand with palm-up while throwing.	Good Student consistently positions his/her hand with palm-up while throwing.
Appropriate force/distance	Unsatisfactory Student engages in careless or reckless throwing movements while throwing the bocce ball.	Poor Student rarely applies the appropriate level of force while throwing the bocce ball.	Fair Student occasionally displays the appropriate level of force while throwing the bocce ball.	Good Student consistently displays the appropriate level of force while throwing the bocce ball.
Teamwork/ Rules and Fairplay	Unsatisfactory Student shows poor sense of fair play, cheats, & is an overall negative participant.	Poor Students participates with little regard to the rules of the game.	Fair Usually follows the rules, and displays a good sense of fair play.	Good Student displays an excellent sense of fair play. Student always follows the rules and never argues with other students.
