The shooter always looks balanced at the free throw line, with his/her weight evenly distributed.
Knees Bent

The shooter never bends their knees prior to shooting.

Sometimes the shooter bends his/her knee when shooting free throws.

The shooter slightly bends their knees when shooting.

The shooter always bends his/her knees when shooting.
Eyes on Target

Enter description

Exploring

The shooter's eyes do not stay fixed on the rim ever. Instead, they follow they flight of the ball.
Developing

The shooter's eyes follow the ball for part of the flight, and look at the rim for part of the flight.
Competent

The shooters eyes start on the target, but then wonder elsewhere during the shot.
Proficient

The shooter's eyes stay focused on the rim from the initiation of the shot, until after the ball has passed through the cylinder.
Follow Through

No follow through.
Developing

Sometimes flicks the wrist during the follow through.
Competent

Flicks the wrist, but doesn't hold the follow through.
Proficient

Flicks the wrist and holds the follow through for an extended time.
