Basketball Dribbling
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Uses their finger pads	Poor Student dribbles using slapping or carrying motion. Fingerpads are not used.	Fair Fingerpads are used often, but student occasionally slaps or uses palm to carry ball.	Good Fingerpads are always used, there is no slapping motion and and the palm of the hand is not used.
Ball is waist height	Poor Student is erect, has little control, and ball is mostly dribbled at chest height.	Fair Student has good control, but tends to dribble the ball at chest height from time to time.	Good Student is in an athletic stance, has excellent control of the ball while keeping it at waist height.
Eyes are up	Poor Eyes are looking down at the ball. Struggles to keep control when the eyes come up.	Fair Eyes occasionally look down at the ball while dribbling.	Good Student has complete control of the ball while eyes are up and scanning surroundings.
Ball is close to the body	Poor Student dribbles ball away from the body, rarely keeping it close, and off arm is at side, not used.	Fair The ball is kept at a reasonable distance but tends to be dribbled away from the body and the off arm is sometimes used to shield.	Good The ball is kept close to the body, off arm is used as a bar to shield ball and ball rarely gets away.
