Geometric Shape Animals
Students will create a picture of an animal using only geometric shaped cutouts. They will break down the complex organic shape of any animal into simpler geometric shapes. Students will also learn how to use line to contour the geometric shapes that they created their animals out of.

Use of Geometric shapes.

Student does not use Geometric shapes in the picture and uses organic shapes or the contour line only. The students shapes are cut very unevenly and edges are jagged. Student used less than 7 shapes.

The animal resembles itself and project looks very well designed.

The student put little or no effort into creating their geometric review book. Very few notes were taken for book preparation. Book assembly is very unorganized and pieces are upside down. Holes where not punch well and pages are falling off ring.
Fair
The student put some effort into creating their geometric review book. Most notes were added per teachers instruction. Detailed information was added to book and shapes. Book is mostly organized and neatly put together.
Good
The student put a great deal of effort into creating their geometric review book. All notes and details were added to book per teachers instruction, holes are punched uniformly and booklet is well put together.
