Rules	Needs to Improve Knows few or hardly any of the rules we use in the basketball unit. Doesn't apply any rules in the game and doesn't see the fouls	Fair Knows and applies most of the rules, might have difficulties with the traveling rule. Can express most of the rules.	Good Knows and applies rules Can express rules thoroughly. Knows the difference between the official rules and playground rules.
Awareness	Needs to Improve Remains stationary. Moves towards the ball when wanting to get it	Fair Moves well without the ball. Recognizes some gaps in the defense. Creates passing angles.	Good Immediately recognizes all gaps in the defense. Moves effectively without the ball. Helps teammates to be in the right spots.
