Completion	1 Incomplete with no criteria met	2 Incomplete but some criteria is met	3 Complete but lacks several required criteria	4 Complete and meets most but not all criteria	5 Student has done a great job, all criteria is met and project is complete
Effort	1 No effort was put forth	2 Limited effort shown	3 A fair amount of effort present	4 Reasonable effort shown , but there is room for growth	5 Students has put forth superior effort.
Creativity	1 Not finished, neat or creative	2 No creative risk was taken, project is not neat or original.	3 Shows developing ideas, mostly neat, but no sense of originality.	4 Neat but could have been more original or creative.	5 Student has taken a creative risk and has created a neat and original project.
Understanding	1 Did not follow directions, lack of topic understanding	2 Followed few instructions, still lack complete understanding of topic	3 Followed some directions, and showed some understanding of topic	4 Followed most instructions, with good understanding of topic	5 Student followed all instructions, and showed complete topic understanding
