Poor

The student was unprepared and scattered in their knowledge of the subject matter. They appeared flustered and did not know the information well enough to speak confidently. They did not project their voice.
Fair

The student had knowledge of some of the information, but it was just minimal and not reflecting a depth of research. They appeared unorganized and rushed through the content. They did not speak up.
Good

The student had eye contact and a clear voice. The knew what they were going to say and it was obvious that the did the work.
Excellent

The student was clear, loud enough, organized, and clam. They smiled and could discuss the presentation with fluency.
Presentation: Required Information

Poor

There was not evidence of all the "talking points" required for this presentation. Only a few, basic topics were discussed or presented. The student read their presentation.
Fair

Some of the topics in the "talking points" were addressed however, the slides did not illustrate what was being said,and there was little detail or research evident. The student was not knowledgable about their artist and was reading the information.
Good

The "talking points" were addressed and the slides did illustrate each point made. There was a lack of interest or depth in the information. It was minimal and quickly gone over.
Excellent

The student covered in depth all of the "talking points" and had slides illustrating each point. The student was familiar with all of the information and spoke fluently about their facts.
Presentation: Slides and Images

Poor

There was a lack of images representing the points made by the speaker.
Fair

There were missing images and minimal supporting images for the points discussed. Several slides contained multiple images and were difficult to view or read.
Good

The student had all of the information, and the slides were not crowded with images. The viewer could easily identify and observe the points discussed. There were some slides with a lot of text and a lack of clarity.
Excellent

The images were not crowded. There was clarity and not any heavy "text" slides. The images clearly corresponded to the points discussed and offered clarity and additional information.
Project in the influence of..

Poor

The project is unrelated to the artist in any manner that is identifiable. See project grading for other topics.
Fair

The project lacks refinement and craftsmanship. It loosely has some of the elements found in that artist's work. See project grading for other topics.
Good

The artwork is connected to the artist work, yet does not show any new growth or experimentation on the students behalf.
Excellent

The artwork is clearly inspired by the artist and yet it fits the theme of the student's year long goals.
