Balance, Rock, Roll, Bend

Level 4

When asked, student will walk on a balance beam. Student will rock in place and perform the log roll. Student will bend body in all directions.
Level 3

Student is able to walk on a balance beam at least 4 steps without assistance. Student will perform log roll with minimal assistance. Student can bend at waist from side to side.
Level 2

Student is able to walk on a balance beam for at least 4 steps with assistance. Student can rock from side to side and forward and backward. Student will perform log roll with assistance. Student can bend at waist in forward motion.
Level 1

Student is able to balance on a line on the floor. Student can rock side to side. Student can get into position for log roll but can not roll without assistance. Student bends slightly at waist.
Swing, Push, Pull, Twist

Level 4

When asked, student will swing arms and legs. Student will model pushing and pulling movement and twisting at the waist.
Level 3

Student can push or pull object without without assistance.
Level 2

Student can push or pull without assistance. Student can twist at waist. Students can swing arms and legs
Level 1

Student is able to Push or pull with assistance. Student can twist slightly at the waist, student is able to swing arms and legs with assistance.
Curl, turn, stretch

Level 4

When asked, student will curl torso and arms. Student will turn in all directions. Students will stretch their bodies in different directions.
Level 3

Student is able to stretch and curl limbs. Student needs assistance with turning in directions (right, left).
Level 2

Student is able to stretch limbs. Student able to curl limbs with assistance. Student needs assistance with turning in directions (right, left and backward.)
Level 1

Student is able to curl arms. Student is able to turn in directions with assistance from adult. Student attempts to stretch limbs.
