Route Running, Throwing & Catching	Poor I can sometimes throw a spiral, run a route and catch a ball	Fair I can throw spirals most of the time, but have some difficulty hitting my target. I can run a play pattern and receive most of the passes thrown to me.	Good I can throw a spiral all the time. I can hit a moving target most of the time. I can run a play pattern successfully, and receive all passes with in arms reach	Excellent I can throw a spiral 100% of the time. I can hit any given target 100% of the time. I run play patterns successfully, and can out manuever most students in class.
Rules of Flag Football	Poor I understand most of the rules of flag football.	Fair I understand the rules of flag football. I can run most plays that have been taught in class.	Good I understand the rules of flag football. I can run all plays, and I can create new plays/strategies that will work against a defense.	Excellent I am very knowledgeable about the game of football. I am very creative when running or designing play strategies
Active Lifestyles	Poor I do some of the running and moving during flag football activities in class without getting tired/walk.	Fair I can complete learning activity, or participate in regulation game of flag football for 30 minutes without resting.	Good I do at least 3 days per week of some sort of sport activity outside of school.	Excellent I spend at least 5 days a week for (1) hour more doing different sport activities outside of school. I enjoy being active, and understand how it helps me to be healthy, happy, and strong.
Defensive concepts	Poor Has a vague understanding of man and Zone defense	Fair Can demonstrate man and zone defense sometimes but occasionally forgets assignment.	Good Understands man and zone defensive concepts	Excellent Demonstrates superior understanding of zone and man defensive concepts and also can design plays to exploit an offense.
