Thickness	Excellent Walls are of even thickness and are approximately 1/8".	Good Walls are of even thickness.	Fair Walls are somewhat uneven.	Poor Walls are uneven and some walls are very thin.
Craftsmanship	Excellent There are no flaws. The work is neat and the pot has high walls, making it usable. The paint is neat.	Good The pot has high walls and is usable. The paint is mostly neat.	Fair The work could be neater. There are some flaws in the paint.	Poor There are numerous flaws in the clay. The paint is messy.
Use of Time	Excellent The student worked hard on the project and did his/her best. The student cleaned up after his/herself every day.	Good The student mostly worked hard on this project. The student cleaned up well.	Fair The student was sometimes off task. The student could have cleaned up better.	Poor The student was often off task. The student didn't clean up well.
