Final Series

Poor

Students final three prints do not work well together as a series. There is no connection between the three photographs. Low light is not a main theme.
Fair

Students final three prints work fairly well together but the student could have spent more time developing a stronger idea of composition and subject. Low light is not clear in all.
Good

Students final three prints work extremely well together and clearly represent a group of landscapes. It is clear the photographer took the time to consider all details of the photograph including the low light situations.
Print Quality

Poor

Print quality is grey, negatives look like they were poorly treated, and the image is not sharp
Fair

Some aspects of the print may be poor but other parts of the print are well maintained
Good

All three prints are printed with great expertise. Student is fully aware of what an excellent print looks like
Matting

Poor

Matting is sloppy and looks rushed. Cuts are crooked and uneven
Fair

Matting is fairly well done but could use some help in specific parts. Student may need some more practice with matte cutting
Good

Matting is neatly done and student shows knowledge of how to cut a matte properly
Participation in Class/Attitude

Poor

Student did not put much effort in to this assignment. Assignment was rushed and done at the last minute. Student did not go out of their way to produce a strong series or set of negatives.
Fair

Student put some effort into the project but could have worked much harder in class to produce a stronger series.
Good

Student put much effort into the project. Their prints and negatives were very successful and they worked hard in class to produce them.
