HLH123 Final Skills Evaluation 
Students demonstrate proficiency in performing basic nursing care skills. The exam will evaluate Handwashing, One Random Skill, and Vital Signs. ( Radial Pulse, Apical Pulse, Respirations, Pulse Oximeter Measurement, and 2-Step Blood Pressure. Class Participation is included in the evaluation, with students required to submit Post Skills Videos question responses, and mandatory Independent Hours ( 4)

Needs 3-4 verbal cues to perform skill. Repeats measurement x 2 with accuracy and correlates with examiner’s assessment.

Satisfactory demonstration of assigned skill. Several procedure steps missed when performing skill. Demonstrates some difficulty with operating equipment. Required additianal attempt with assessment to correlate with the ecxaminer's assessment.
