Pen and Ink Design

Students will define shape, form and line and examine how these elements are used in art work. Students will practice and develop skill in using pan and ink, students will create a series of patterns using pen and ink. Students will create a range of value with pan and ink patterns. Students will use dry brush, ink, wash and brush textures in art work. Students will use shading techniques: hatching, stippling and scribbling to create value.
