Dribbling

Limited Success

Student is unable to use their instep while dribbling, has no control of the ball and is constantly chasing the ball. The student also is constantly looking at the ball and does not keep their head up while dribbling
Developing

Student is able to use their instep at least 50% of the time with instep of their foot, and shows control of the ball at least 50% of the time. Student keeps their head up at least 50% of the time while dribbling
Proficient

Student is able to dribble with their instep 90% of the time with their dominant foot. Student shows control of the ball 90% of the time, and keeps their head up 90% of the time.
Mastery

With both their dominant and non-dominant foot, the student is able to dribble with their instep 90% of the time. Student shows control of the ball 90% of the time, and keeps their head up 90% of the time.

Student is unable to move to space, pass to space or make their own space. Student usually loses the ball to the defender. Student keeps their head down
Developing

Student moves to space 50% of the time, but is unable to make their own space. Student loses ball to defender 50% of the time. Student has their head up 50% of the time.
Proficient

Student is able to move and pass to space 90% of the time and successfully creates their own space 50% of the time. Student keeps their head up 90% of the time, and is successful against the defender 75% of the time.
Mastery

Student is able to move to space, pass to space, and create their own space 90% of the time. Student is successful against the defender 90% of the time and keeps their head up 90% of the time.
Defending

Limited Success

Student does not get low, and is not patient while anticipating the attacker's next move. The attacker is usually successful in beating the defender.
Developing

The student is able to get low, but is too eager when anticipating the attacker's next move and over commits. The attacker is successful in beating the defender 50% of the time
Proficient

The student gets low, is patient, and is able to anticipate the attacker's move 75% of the time. The attacker is successful in beating the defender 25% of the time.
Mastery

The student gets low, is patient, successfully anticipates the attacker's move 90% of the time. The student is also successful in corralling the attacker to a particular area. The attacker is only successful in beating the defender 10% of the time.
Shooting

Limited Success

Student has not mastered the ability of aiming, and experiences no success in shooting the ball at the desired target.
Developing

Student only uses the instep technique 50% of the time, and only keeps their knee over the ball 50% of the time. The student is only successful 50% of the time in hitting the target with their dominant foot.
Proficient

Student uses the instep technique 75% of the time and keeps their knee over the ball 75% of the time. The student is successful 90% of the time in hitting the target with their dominant foot, and is successful less than 50% of the time in hitting the target with their non-dominant foot.
Mastery

Student uses the instep technique 90% of the time and keeps their knee over the ball 90% of the time. The student is successful 90% of the time in hitting the target with their dominant foot, and is successful over 50% of the time in hitting the target with their non dominant foot.
Juggling

Limited Success

Student has not mastered the ability to juggle using any body part, and can not complete 2 consecutive juggles.
Developing

Student is able to complete at least 5 consecutive juggles using 2 or less body parts.
Proficient

Student is able to complete at least 10 consecutive juggles using at least 2 different body parts
Mastery

Student is able to complete at least 12 consecutive juggles using 4 different body parts.
