Scratch refinement

Refine all 12-1500 grit scratches to a 3,000 grit scratch before buffing

Always buffed with clean undamaged wool pad or white foam pad. All defects removed. All sand scratches completely refined.

Polish and Inspect

Remove all buffing marks, swirl marks and all imperfection with polish to a high gloss ( no scratches trash and swirl marks

0-69

Panel unpolished.
No inspection.
70-79

Panel dull and hazy. Swirl marks and sand scratches still visable
Found many quality control issues and/or defects during inspection.
80-89

Panel polished and clear.
Found and remedied most of the sand scratches and defects during inspection.
90-100

Panel highly polished and very clear.
Found no quality control issues or defects during inspection. Student used proper repair procedures .
