Dribbling
	Unacceptable 1 pts	Approaching 2 pts	Target 3 pts	Superstar 4 pts
Head up	Unacceptable Student looks down at the basketball 6 or more times.	Approaching Student looks down at the basketball 3-5 times.	Target Student looks down at the basketball 1-2 times.	Superstar Student never looks down down at the basketball. Shows mastery of skill.
Keep dribble at/below waist	Unacceptable Student lets a ball go above their waist 6 or more times.	Approaching Student lets a ball go above their waist 3-5 times.	Target Student lets a ball go above their waist 1-2 times.	Superstar Student never lets a ball go above their waist.
Fingertips/pads of fingers	Unacceptable Student uses the palm of the hand 6 or more times to dribble the basketball.	Approaching Student uses the palm of the hand 3-5 times to dribble the basketball.	Target Student uses the palm of the hand 1-2 times to dribble the basketball.	Superstar Student solely uses the fingertips/pads of fingers to dribble the basketball.
Knees Bent	Unacceptable Stands straight up- rarely bends knees while dribbling	Approaching Knees are slightly bent, but sometimes stands up.	Target Knees are usually bent while dribbling	Superstar The students knees are consistently bent the entire time while dribbling
