Continually adding variety and new content for compelling segment. Always looks to other sources for compelling photos, sound and video. Generates motion projects and animated graphics which add to the overall content of segment. Shares ideas with other groups.

Goes above and beyond to make sure group has all paperwork complete, green room paperwork completed; makes sure all members sign cameras out not just self;
Production/Value/Skills

Poor

Editing is substandard; jump cuts are consistently used; sound is too loud or low, videography is shaky, pans are too fast, no rule of thirds used, no lower thirds, interviews are silly; interferes with talent, immature actions result in delays. No other technical skills are used in content. Shots are boring with no use of Walldo/Wochu.
Fair

Sometimes forgets to use lower thirds, sound is sometimes off, music is too hot, videography tends to shake in spots, rule of thirds is not consistent where necessary; has a few jump cuts; sometimes allows silliness to affect content; sometimes uses other technical skills. Walldo/Wochu sometimes used to add variety to shots.

Good editing is used throughout segment. Videography is stable and original with lots of composition when necessary -wochu/Walldo) Consistently uses lower thirds, rule of thirds when necessary, never has jump cuts; audio levels are consistent, music fades are just right, no jumps cuts; No silly behavior in segment unless necessary. Experiments with FCPC effects.
Exceptional

Excellent editing skills used; always adding effects from MOTION or FCPX; Rule of 3rds and other video composition used like WALLDO/WOCHU. Animations and graphics fill voids in video; Lower thirds always used to identify, no jump cuts; original creativity is evident throughout segment.
Post Production

Poor

Always leaves cameras and tripods, mics and receivers out and on. Leaves camera and lights in green room on. Fails to plug in batteries and or cameras. Leaves chairs, trash and paper everywhere. Never participates on post conference with crew.
Fair

Sometimes leaves cameras and other equipment out and turned on; sometimes fails to leave green room without turning lights and cameras off. Sometimes leaves cameras, tripods and mics and receivers out and unplugged or turned off. Sometimes participates in post conferences with crew
Good

Puts tripods, cameras and other technology back in place, turns off lights in green room, and plugs in cameras and turns off mics and receivers. Never leaves trash, chairs or paper out of place. Participates in post conference with crew.
Exceptional

Goes above and beyond making sure all technology is put away and plugged in and or off. Stays after to make sure room is clean and ready for next class. Encourages post conference with crew leading with solutions and flexibility to work around problems.
