Getting to Know You: Over the summer I... Life drawing with shapes.

Use of color	Poor Student does not use complimentary color pairs.	Good Student uses complementary colors in one area.	Excellent Student uses complimentary colors in two areas.
Use of pointillism.	Poor Student does not use pointillism.	Good Student uses pointillism in one area.	Excellent Student uses pointillism in two areas.
Effort	Poor Student does not show effort in the drawing, quickly draws it, and it is messy.<BR> <BR> Student is not focused on the drawing (ex. spends class time talking to friends and not observing the shell).<BR> <BR>	Good Student shows some effort in the drawing but it is rushed.<BR> <BR>	Excellent Student shows effort in drawing. It is not rushed. It is neat. <BR> <BR> Student is focused on the drawing.
Clean up	Poor Student does not clean area, leaves a mess, leaves materials out, has others clean for him/her.<BR> Student talks to classmates and is not ready for dismissal.	Good Student makes an effort cleaning but leaves materials out. Student talks to classmates and is not ready for dismissal.	Excellent Student's area is cleaned into the same condition it was when entering the room. Materials are put away and student is ready for dismissal.
