Line - Figure Study

Students will complete a line drawing of a grouping of figures. They will use a viewfinder to capture an interesting composition. Using the viewfinder image as a starting point, students will fill the format of the drawing paper with their composition.

The viewers eye moves over most of the composition.	Good I have filled the entire piece of paper with interesting information and the viewers eye moves all over the composition.
Lines as Contours	Poor I did not draw interior lines like shadows, folds, and highlights.	Fair I drew some interior lines like shadows, folds, and highlights.	Good I drew many interior lines like shadows, folds, and highlights.
Effort	Poor I gave little effort to making my composition interesting or taking my time to see what I am drawing.	Fair I gave some effort to making an interesting composition and seeing what I was drawing. Some of the proportions look close.	Good I gave a lot of effort to making an interesting composition and took my time to draw what I saw. Proportions look very accurate.
