Volleyball

assessment was done during game play, as well as a specific skills test. Skills assessed were an underhand/overhand serve, bump, set, readiness and effort.

Effort/Cooperation	Never	Infrequently	Frequently	Almost Always	Always Gave full effort. Attempted to do the best for the team. Had fun and/or made the best of the situation.
Game Play	Never	Infrequently	Frequently	Almost Always	Always Was ready for the ball at all times. Did not stand flat-footed. Went for any/all balls in area. Knew when to rotate. Did not argue with the referee/line judges.
Bump	Never	Infrequently	Frequently	Almost Always	Always Squared body to the target. Bent knees that extended when contact was made with the ball. Flat platform that contacted the ball on the forearms and were aimed at target. Hands were connected. Arms did not swing.
Set	Never	Infrequently	Frequently	Almost Always	Always Legs and arms are bent and then extended when contact is made. Hands in a diamond position. Contact is made on fingertips and above the head.
Serve (overhand)	Never	Infrequently	Frequently	Almost Always	Always Step in opposition. Contact the ball with the heel(palm, while arm is straight up) of the hand . Arm swings from back to front like a pendulum(Arm pulls back like an arrow and then comes forward). Ball is held on other hand like a golf ball on a tee(toss the ball straight up in front of hitting side).
