Student is standing with nonthrowing side of the body towards the target.

Student does not have nonthrowing side of body facing target at all.

Student has nonthrowing side of body somewhat facing target.

Student has nonthrowing side of body completely facing target.
Stepping

Student stepped toward the target with the leg opposite the throwing arm.

Student does not step at all.

Student steps with the same leg as the throwing arm.

Student steps with opposite leg towards target.
Arm

Arm is bent at the elbow. The elbow leads the forward movement of the arm, followed by forearm extension and a final snapping of the wrist.
