Symmetry	Mastered Shield is perfectly symmetrical. Antlers are identical.	Skilled Shield is 90% symmetrical. Antlers are 90% identical.	Competent Shield is 70% symmetrical. Antlers are 70% identical.	Learning Shield is not symmetrical. Antlers are very different.
Cuts / Joints	Mastered Cuts accurate. Joints fit tightly. Dowel joint is strong.	Skilled Some minor errors in cuts or joint fit. Dowel joint is sufficient to hold.	Competent Half of joints are tight. No gaps larger than 2mm. Dowel joint is loose.	Learning Cuts not square, joints do not fit tightly. Major gaps, larger than 2mm. Structural integrity is compromised.
Assembly	Mastered No visible errors in assembly. No visible glue. Antlers are aligned correctly. Head is straight.	Skilled Minor errors in assembly. Overall assembly is accurate. Competent Scratches are in less visible spots. Minimal sanding evident. Not sanded to the proper grit paper.	Learning Large scratches in wood surface. Little or no sanding. Saleability	Mastered Project built to detailed standards. A customer would be willing to pay way too much money for this project from a fancy furniture store, such as Restoration Hardware.	Skilled Project has few minor errors. A customer would buy this project from a big box store, such as Walmart, Home Depot, or Ikea.	Competent Project is somewhat sale worthy. Your mom would buy it from a thrift store at a discounted price.	Learning Project has many errors. Project is not saleable.
