PE 1.1: Demonstrates competency in locomotor and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of activities. PE1.1d: Demonstrates basic mainupalitive skills. Each student will perform each mainupalitive skill 3 times and will be assessed based on their performance.

Frog jump

Rookie

- Student does not jump off two feet and land on two feet
- Student often falls down
Intermediate

- Student has trouble with the take off or the landing but not both.
- Student depends on their hands a lot for balance.
Veteran

- Student jumps off two feet and lands on two feet softly
- Student is comfortable in frog position showing stability and control
Bear crawl

Rookie

- Students bum is too high up in the air
- Little to no coordination of movement between arms and legs
Intermediate

- Bum is lower but still not low enough
Veteran

- Bum is low to the ground
- Good coordination between the alternation of hands and feet.
Galloping

Rookie

- Stundet is not turned on an angle while galloping
- Little to no coordination of the galloping of feet
- Easily trips up or falls down because of lac of coordination
Intermediate

- Can produce galloping motion while being hesitant
- Slow galloping motion, not coordinated enough to complete fast and with confidence
Veteran

- Produces fluid galloping movements with confidence
- Can gallop at a fast pace
Crawling

Rookie

-Has difficulty crawling
- May sometimes fall down
Intermediate

- Good crawler
Veteran

- Can crawl fast with confidence and ease
Cooperation

Rookie

- Did not listen to instructions
- Argued with teacher when they didn't want to be a certain animal
- Never made animal noises
Intermediate

- Sometimes listened to instructions
- Sometimes made animal noises
Veteran

- Always listened to instructions
- Always made an effort to participate in all parts of the activity
