Career Exploration Project

Students will explore a career they are interested in and tell what is done in career, why they choose the career, working conditions, education needed, job out look, earning levels, and related occupations.

Creativity Limit word use to no more then ten words on each slide excluding bibliography slide	Advanced Student has a introduction slide, at least six slides with graphics, and a bibliography slide. Student has personal interest and can explain reason they are interested in career.	Proficient Student has a introduction slide,Student uses at least four slides of graphics, and a bibliography slide. Student has an interest in the career.	Basic Student uses at least three slides of graphics Student uses Google on bibliography slide or lacks slide Student says "I like this job." or similar.	Below Basic Student has two slides Student has no picture. Student has no reason they choose this career. No bibliography slide.
Content	Advanced Student answers all questions with accurate information.	Proficient Student doesn't answer 1 of the required questions.	Basic Student doesn't answer 2 of the required questions.	Below Basic Student doesn't answer 3 of the required questions.
Spelling/Grammer	Advanced Student's presentation has no more than 3 errors in spelling or grammer.	Proficient Student's presentation has no more than 5 errors in spelling or grammer.	Basic Student's presentation has no more than 7 errors in spelling or grammer.	Below Basic Student's presentation has 8+ errors in spelling or grammer.
Voice	Advanced Student speaks in a clear voice that is easy to understand.	Proficient Student is easy to understand most of the time.	Basic Student is understood part of the time. Student uses eye contact, looking up at least 6 times in presentation.	Below Basic Student is hard to understand. Student uses eye contact, looking up less than 6 times in presentation.
Graphics	Advanced Graphics represent content.	Proficient Most of the graphics represent content.	Basic Some of the graphics represent content.	Below Basic Graphics do not represent content.
Eye contact	Advanced Student uses eye contact, looking at audience almost of the time.	Proficient Student uses eye contact, looking at audience most of the time.	Basic Student uses limited eye contact, looking at audience some of the time.	Below Basic Student rarely uses eye contact or looks at audience.
