Dribbling

Excellent (A)

Student can dribble and control the handball with wither hand, and does not double dribble.<BR>

Student can sometimes dribble and control the handball, but is only able to dribble with one hand and at times double dribbles.<BR>

Beginner (E)

Student cannot dribble or control the handball with either hand.<BR>

Throwing

Excellent (A)

Jumps and throws using one hand and steps with the opposite foot, landing in the 6 meter zone. Uses enough force to make it to the target all of the time.<BR>

Uses Correct form all of the time.
Developing (C)

Throws with one hand without stepping towards their target and uses enough force to make it all the way to the target half of the time.<BR>

Uses correct form some of the time.
Beginner (E)

Throws with two hands without stepping towards their target and doesn't use enough force to make it all the way to the target none of the time.<BR>

Does not use correct form at all.
Game Play

Excellent (A)

Always interprets and explains Team Handball rules and terminology accurately. Participates actively and enthusiastically following safety rules and maintaining good sportsmanship. Works cooperatively with other team members.
Developing (C)

Sometimes misinterprets Team Handball rules and terminology. Participates, follows most safety rules and maintains good sportsmanship. Needs to improve cooperation with other team members.
Beginner (E)

Often misinterprets Team Handball rules and terminology. Participates reluctantly or with a poor attitude, does not follow safety rules and does not maintain good sportsmanship. Shows very little cooperation with other team members.
