Color Wheel Rubric Color Wheel Rubric After a review of the color wheel by the teacher, the student will create and organic shaped color wheel on paper. The student will correctly mix and paint the correct colors on the color wheel in the correct position. The student will also paint an area of the design, as instructed, with the complementary color. Primary Colors and Secondary Colors	Excellent Primary, secondary, and tertiary colors have been exceptionally well-organized and painted in their correct space.	Good Primary, secondary, and tertiary colors have been organized and painted in the correct order.	Average Primary, secondary, and tertiary colors have been painted, but not organized on the color wheel.	Fair Some primary, secondary, and tertiary colors have been painted, but not in the correct place on the color wheel.	Poor Primary, secondary, and tertiary colors have not been painted or placed on the color wheel.
Craftmanship	Excellent Colors have been exceptionally well-organized, cleanly cut and placed organized correctly on the color wheel, according to instructions given.	Good Colors have been organized, cut well and placed on the color wheel.	Average Colors have been placed on the color wheel, but not following placement directions. Craftsmanship could be improved.	Fair Colors have been placed on the color wheel, but . craftsmanship needs improvement	Poor Colors do not appear on the color wheel correctly. Craftsmanship needs much improvement.
