Student performs with minimal distractions. He/She looks fairly confident and prepared for most of the performance.

Student is distracted and insecure. He/ She sometimes breaks the performance by looking around, talking, or giggling throughout the performance.
Poor

Student is distracted and insecure. He/She is often breaking the performance by looking around, talking, and giggling throughout the performance.

Student did not perform a dance.

Written work demonstrates a clear understanding of history and culture.
Good

Written work demonstrates an understanding of history and culture.
Fair

Written work does not demonstrate a clear understanding of history and culture.
