Moderate The student developed an interesting project within the assignment parameters. However, the artwork lacks specific attention to some of the design elements and/or principles of design that could more effectively illustrate the concept.	Good The student developed an interesting project free from a predictable solution and within the parameters of the assignment. Good consideration was given to specific elements and principles of design that gave good focus and expression to the concept.	Excellent The student developed a project with considerable originality that comes from divergent thinking. The selected elements and principles of design contribute significantly to the composition, powerful imagery, and the expression of the concept.

Craft 30 % Media and technique look intentional and well practiced. Handling of materials and tools exhibit competence and sensitivity.	Fair The student finished the project but the media and technique look unpracticed.	Moderate The student finished the project but the media and technique look tentative and/or unintentional in some areas.	Good The student maintained, clear, fresh,"intentional"looking craft, in the overall project. However there is an area or two where the media and technique could appear more polished.	Excellent The student presented a polished, well- rehearsed and generous project. The media and technique are applied in a manner that highlights the concept and its presentation.
