	Poor 1 pts	Fair 3 pts	Good 5 pts	Excellent 6 pts
Grip Fingers spread evenly, 2 on the laces, 2 on the leather, thumb on the underside.	Poor Student cannot hold/grip the ball correctly	Fair Some ability- fair capability to grip the football	Good Has good grip, proper finger grip	Excellent Students has great grip, can hold ball in one hand without palming the ball
Throwing Football Ball travels from chest to ear, with arm in a "L" shape, opposite elbow/hand points toward target. Shoulders twist, weight from back foot to front. Flick the wrist as the ball is released.	Poor Student displays less than 2 of the throwing cues	Fair Student displays 2-3 of the throwing cues	Good Student displays 4-5 of the throwing cues	Excellent Student displays all of the cues to throw the football
Result of the Throw Hitting the target to which you aim	Poor Hits target less that 3 times with no spiral	Fair Hits target 3/5 times with loose spiral	Good Hits target 4/5 times with mostly tight spiral	Excellent Hits target 5/5 times with tight spiral
Catching Football Chest or above: Diamond shaped hands, arms extended away from body, elbows with a slight bend. Hips or Below: Pinkies touching, fingers spread, hands away from body, slight bend in elbow.	Poor Student displays less than 2 of the catching cues and	Fair Student catches the ball displaying 2-3 cues...	Good Student catches the ball displaying 4-5 cues...
