Step 1: Verify the customers concern	Poor Student does not verify the customer concern or does not know how the system works.	Fair Student verifies the customer concern, but does not know proper opperation.	Good Student verifies the concern and demonstrates proper knowledge of system information.
Step 2: Research possible faults and gather info	Poor Student does not research any possible faults or technical service bulletins related to concern.	Fair Student tries to access this information but does not know where to look in service information.	Good Student can access service information and look up technical service bulletins for their concern.
Step 3: Focused testing	Poor Student does not know how to find focused testing test descriptions or how to navigate through diagnostic test procedures	Fair Student can find test procedures, but struggles with preforming or following test procedures.	Good Student can find related testing procedures and navigate through tests with no assistance.
Step 4: Perform the repair	Poor Student can not perform repair.	Fair Student can perform repair, but requires assistance.	Good Student performs repair with no assistance.
Step 5: Verify the repair	Poor Student does not verify the repair.	Fair Student attempts to verify repair, but is unsuccessful.	Good Student verifies repair.
