Shaving

Students have learned the required theory and practical skills to enable them to demonstrate their shaving skills on a client while supervised by an instructor. The student must be deemed proficient in order to practice on clients in clinical.

Sanitation	State Board acceptable station was sanitary, organized and set up with all needed materials/ supplies and implements. SMA was clean and uncluttered. Towels ,water bottle, quats, first aid kit, hand sanitizer, trash bag.	Proficient Station was sanitary, organized and set up.	Not Proficient Station was unsanitary and station was not sanitary or set up.
Perform all steps	State Board acceptable Student does demonstrate all 14 steps of shaving with confidence throughout the procedure, no assistance from instructor at 80% or more competency .	Proficient Student does demonstrate all steps of shaving throughout the procedure with minimum supervision at at 70% or more competency.	Not Proficient Student does not demonstrate all steps of shaving throughout the procedure.
Demonstrates Proficiency at Skill	State Board acceptable Student demonstrates 80% proficiency at the skill of shaving the client, no assistance from instructor.
