Blending	Mastery EVIDENCE OF BLENDING WAS DEMONSTRATED. Blending appears smooth with proper gradations of value. Can see at least 4 values. Shadows are the darkest value,	Developing Blending needs some improvement, with some choppy gradations in value. Shadow is not the darkest value.	Emerging Blending needs a great deal of improvement , shapes appear grainy and there is choppy gradations Grooves are etched into the paper. Shaded with less than 4 values. Shadow is not the darkest value.	Needs Improvement No blending or muddy/messy blending. Blending is not repairable. Grooves are etched into the paper. Shaded with less then 4 values. No shadows	Grade
Craftsmanship	Mastery Eye is crisp and clean with no outside pencil strokes. Drawing appearance is very neat.	Developing Drawing appearance is somewhat neat with a few smudges.	Emerging Drawing is somewhat messy with some shading appearing outside of sphere/shadow. Some smudging .	Needs Improvement Drawing appears messy. Shading appears outside of the eye. There are additional lines and smudges on paper that should have been erased.	Grade
Participation/Use of Class Time	Mastery You were fully engaged in your art work without involving yourself in overly distracting activities.	Developing You were engaged in work most of the time, but allowed some overly distracting activities such as conversations or not concentrating on your work to occur.
