Savory Cupcakes

Students will work in groups and make a cupcake with a base, filling and topping. A bakers dozen is a must! Signature ingredient will be discussed at the beginning of the project.

Measuring Ingredients	Exceptional Students properly measured all ingredients	Good Students properly measured most of hte ingredients.	Fair Students measured most ingredients close to the correct amount.	Poor Most ingredients added were not the correct amount.
Mixing: Base. Filling, Topper	Exceptional Students mixed the ingredients thoroughly until mixture was smooth and creamy.	Good Students mixed all ingredients with only a few small lumps.	Fair Students mixed ingredients but left quite a few lumps.	Poor Students did not mix ingredients well. Either lumps were found or separation of powder and liquid was visible.
