How-to-Video for Reporting Bullying

Students will create a 2 minute (minimum) How-To Video using screen capture software. The student must demonstrate to an audience how to do fill out and submit a page to report bullying or similar concern.

Content Elements are correct with steps and boxes/fields explained.	Distinguished Student has included all of the necessary steps in the correct order. Fields/choices are anticipated and explained well.	Proficient Student has included all of the necessary steps in the correct order. Most fields and choices are explained, but some information is not clear.	Apprentice Student has made an effort, but some of the steps/information are obviously missing. Viewer would have difficulty filling out the form with this information.
Time Management Group displays effective use of classroom time.	Distinguished Routinely uses time well throughout the project to ensure things get done on time. Group does not have to adjust deadlines or work responsibilities because of procrastination.	Proficient Tends to procrastinate, but always gets things done by the deadlines. Group does not have to adjust deadlines or work responsibilities because of procrastination.	Apprentice Rarely gets things done by the deadlines AND group has to adjust deadlines or work responsibilities because of the group's inadequate time management.
Grammar/Communication Proper English skills exhibited	Distinguished Grammar and usage were correct and contributed to clarity, style and development.	Proficient Grammar and usage were typically correct. Some errors were apparent, but did not distract from viewer's understanding.	Apprentice Repeated errors in grammar and usage distracted viewer's understanding.
Audience Awareness Does the video effectively demonstrate an informative technique?	Distinguished Establishes a technique/style early on and maintains a clear focus throughout.	Proficient There are a few lapses in focus, but the technique/style is fairly clear.	Apprentice It is difficult to figure out the technique/style of the presentation.
