Up do selection	Excellent-25 Excellent selection for formal occasion. Ornamentation was used to make the style polished looking. Hair style had alot of detail.	Good-20 Hairstyle was appropriate but outcome was not completely smooth. Ornamentation placed in the style.	Poor-15 Style was not placed in an up do and was lacking smoothness and ornamentation.	Unacceptable-5 Style was too young looking. No details for formal event were incorporated in the up do.
Up-do techniques	Excellent-25 Excellent styling techniques-hair was totally smooth and no pins showing.	Good-20 Technique was good and needed very little smoothing.	Poor-15 Technique was fair which left the hair bumpy and ends were not totally smooth.	Unacceptable-5 Style was poor and sagging down. Hair was not smooth causing style to look messy.
Finished look	Excellent-25 Excellent finished look. Style was very polished and smooth. Everything flowed very well together.	Good-20 Finished style was good, but lacked height and ends looked a little frizzy.	Poor-15 Finished style was fair causing in to not flow very well. Ends looked pretty frizzy.	Unacceptable-5 Finished style was poor due to lack of time, ponytail too low, hair very frizzy.
Focuses on assignment	Excellent-25 Excellent, followed directions and had hair accessories for the finished look.	Good-20 Good-followed directions.	Poor-15 Fair-Moderately followed directions	Unacceptable-5 Poor-Did not follow directions.
