Sanitation & Setup	Fair Sanitation/set up of station was less than 50% complete. note: If student did not sanitize/set up their station they will earn zero points for this category.	Good Sanitation/Set up of station was half away done.	Excellent Student was able to listen to directions and complete the initial sanitation and setup correctly.
Tool Use/ Motor Coordination	Fair Student can use more than 1 tool but struggles setting tools down frequently.	Good Student uses tools satisfactorily, Uses proper hand movements. Uses tools safely	Excellent Student was able to use tools easily while manipulating hair
Attention to Detail	Fair Two sectioning lines were crooked and/or placement was not in proper position with ears or nose. always placed tools down.	Good Either the sectioning lines were crooked or placement was not in proper position with ears or nose. sometimes placed tools down.	Excellent All the sectioning lines were straight and placement was in proper position with ears or nose. Never placed tools down.
Finish look	Fair Finish was not neat it was messy, a lot of fishhook ends but student completed the work	Good Finish look curls were balanced but some fishhook ends, needed a little extra work in some areas.	Excellent Finish look curls were balanced no fishhook ends at all. Very clean style.
