There is a clear pattern to their mistakes. 50 pts	Emerging They have minimal understanding of the concept being taught and require reteaching and additional opportunities to practice. 25 pts
Craftsmanship Warm Up 11/28	Mastery Sphere is crisp and clean with no outside pencil strokes. Established light source with noticeable highlight. Shadow is congruent with light source for a realistic interpretation.	Proficient Sphere appearance is somewhat neat with a few smudges. Established light source with noticeable highlight. Shadow is almost correct size.	Developing Sphere is somewhat messy with some shading appearing outside of sphere/shadow. Some smudging but no other marks on paper. Cast Shadow is missing.	Emerging Sphere appears messy. Shading appears outside of sphere/shadow. Unsure of light source, not enough highlight.
Participation/Clean Up Final Watercolor Painting	Mastery You were fully engaged in your art work without involving yourself in overly distracting activities. Participated during clean up.	Proficient You were engaged in work most of the time, but did not complete clean up correctly.	Developing You stayed on task some of the time and clean up was not done on correctly.	Emerging You did not use your time wisely and demonstrated much of your art time involved in conversations or not concentrating on your work. Clean was not done correctly.
