Year 7 Term 1, 2016 
An introduction to Visual Arts, realising that art is as unique as the individuals who created it. Unique features of personal markings are identified and how artists communicate through their language of visual design. An investigation of the Elements of Art and their implementation in art. Consideration is given to how artists communicate through portraits, text, signs and symbols. Outcomes: 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7, 5.8, 5.9, 5.10
