Identify and use of lift controls 30 % Student's ability to identify type of lift and use lift controls.	Excellent Demonstrated mastery of lift controls. No assistance needed and all work was performed correctly	Good Student is able to use lift controls with minimal assistance. Student needed assistance identifying lifts used in the shop.	Fair Student needed moderate assistance using lift controls. Student did not or needed moderate assistance identifying lifts used in the shop. Student is capable, needs practice	Unsatifactory Did could not use lift controls or student displayed no exposure.
Setting lift points 60 % Student's ability tp properly and safely position lift arms.	Excellent Demonstrated mastery of task. No assistance was needed setting lift arms and all work was done correctly.	Good Student is able to set lift arms with minimal assistance. Vehicle would lift safely, but not ideal lift points chosen.	Fair Student needed moderate assistance setting lift arms. Student missed up to two lift points.	Unsatifactory Student is unable to properly and safely set the lift arms under correct lift points.
Following Directions of task 10 % Following the directions outlined in the vehicle hoist task sheet.	Excellent Student followed all directions outline in vehicle hoist task sheet.	Good Student followed most directions in vehicle hoist task sheet. Student missed up to two key points of the task	Fair Student did not follow all direction in the task sheet.
