Continuous Clothed Swim

Poor

Swims while occasionally holding onto the rope to take a break. Pauses frequently at each wall for more than 5 seconds.
Fair

Continuously swims the designated distance but pauses for 3 or 4 seconds at each wall.

Continuously swims the designated distance with no hesitation at either end
Treading Water

Poor

Holds onto the ropes or the side to stay floating. Struggles to keep their head out of the water and either sinks repetitively or holds onto the rope.

Completes the designated amount of treading water time but their chins and heads go under the water on several occasions. Heavy breathing is usually noticed as well.

Fails to dive down and retrieve the object. When adjusting the depth, they hold onto the side to help them complete the task.

Dives down and retrieves the object on the second or third attempt. They sometimes grab the side to help them put the object on the deck.
Good

Dives down and retrieves the object on the first attempt and returns it to the side without grabbing the wall.
Aquajogger HELP Swim

Poor

Can't put on the aqua jogger without sitting on the side or having someone else help them put it on..
Fair

Holds onto the rope or the side of the pool to put on their aqua-jogger.
Good

Attaches the aqua-jogger quickly and joins the HELP swim.
