Geometric Shape Animals

Students will draw an animal using only geometric shapes. They will break down the complex organic shape of any animal into simpler geometric shapes. Students will also learn how to use a light sketch line.

Use of Geometric shapes.	Excellent/Superior Student uses only Geometric shapes to make the drawing.	Very good Student uses mostly Geometric shapes to make the drawing.	Good/Average Student makes some use of Geometric shapes but also draws organic shapes.	Unacceptable Student does not use Geometric shapes in the drawing and draws organic shapes or the contour line only.
Use of sketch line	Excellent/Superior Student uses light touch sketch lines in the drawing that are easily erased.	Very good Student uses light touch to sketch most of the lines in the drawing, so most are easily erased	Good/Average Students lines are somewhat dark but can be erased with some effort.	Unacceptable Student has dark lines that are difficult or impossible to erase.
Craftmanship	Excellent/Superior Excellent attention to neatness. Very Clean drawing and coloring	Very good Drawing and coloring is very well done, with one area that needs refining.	Good/Average Some of the Craftsmanship is good, with two or three areas of drawing or coloring that need refining.	Unacceptable Poor craftsmanship; almost all of the drawing and/or coloring is messy, unfinished or is not neat.
Work Ethic/Fabulousness	Excellent/Superior Student always attentive to fabulousness!	Very good Student attentive to fabulousness most of the time.	Good/Average Students attentive to fabulousness more than half the time.	Unacceptable Student attentive to fabulousness less than half the time.
