Passing the ball to a Partner

Developing

The student is developing their ability to pass the ball to their target with the inside of their foot.
Proficient

The student passes the ball with the inside of their foot and it usually reaches their intended target.
Extending

The student passes the ball to their partners foot. They use the inside of their foot to pass and orient their body to aim effectively. Student consistently meets their target.
Receiving a pass from a partner

Developing

The student is developing their communication and receiving the ball in a controlled manner.
Proficient

The student communicates they want a pass and receives the ball using the inside of the foot.
Extending

The student consistently communicates with their partner that they want a pass and receives the ball with the inside of the foot under control in one touch.
Participation

Developing

The student is working on participating well according to the instructions. They are occasionally off task.
Proficient

The student participates well and listens well to instructions.
Extending

The student participates every class and helps show others what to do.
Sportsmanship

Developing

The student is working on showing respect and kindness to others during gym class.
Proficient

The student encourages and respects others. The listen to others/teacher when they are talking and use kind words.
Extending

The student encourages and respects others and themselves. They make sure to listen to the teacher and others in a respectable manner and remind others to do the same.
