Student did not clearly demonstrate knowledge or understanding of elements of art. Worksheet is incorrect and/or drawing does not clearly show mastery of chosen element of art.

Student did not demonstrate knowledge of Elements of Art. Student did not finish worksheet and/or drawing. Worksheet and/or drawing does not show understanding of chosen element of art.
Creativity

Selectively utilize the physical characteristics and expressive features of a given medium to enhance meaning in artwork.

Student created a highly creative drawing. Student obviously spent time working on worksheet and drawing. Student went above and beyond the original assignment in both the worksheet and drawing.

Student worked up to his/her own abilities. Student followed directions and completed the worksheet and drawing accurately.

Student did not work to his/her potential. Student did not take time to make the worksheet and/or drawing look complete and neat. Worksheet and/or drawing is sloppy or unfinished.

Worksheet and/or drawing is/are unfinished, damaged, or missing. Student did not work to his/her potential. Student put forth very little effort in completing this quest.
